Bella / Vegas Editing Keyboard Q

Santa asked me to compile a gift list this year. Every year, I put one totally unneeded, but cool, piece of tech on the list. This year I've got a "big ticket" item (a Garmin Nuvi 360 - woohoo) ... but I need a "lower cost" item as well.

I'm thinking of asking Santa for a Bella Wireless DV Editing Keyboard - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=435327&is=REG&addedTroughType=search

I'm not a video editing pro - strictly a home movie hobbiest - so by no means do I really need to "streamline" my production. But this keyboard looks pretty cool, and the jog wheel feature looks like it would be really useful (as would the marked keys). Anyone use this new version (3.0) of the keyboard yet ? Any ideas on whether this is worth the somewhat high price tage $180 ?

I saw some old posts from 2004 on a Bella keyboard, but I thought I'd ask for some updated opinions.

OK, I don't have the wireless Bella but I like my vegas bella. I had some problems with it whrn I added it to a MS Media center; the media remote control interfere with extras on the bella. I just remoted the media remote hardware and the bella worked like a champ!

If you don't have a shuttle jog wheel yet, the Bella price would be about the same, maybe less, so you get a wheel, plus a nifty board thrown in for free. The ONLY reason I don't go this way is that I jog with my left hand, so the wheel needs to left of the keyboard. Once you've wheeled instead of JKL...
Be nice to Santa, it's a cool tool.
