I searched and couldn't find much on this so I have a question. Is there a certain format that yields better results when using AI upscaling and editing, such as ProRes or MP4. For most part it will be upping 1080p to 4k and files are MP4. I have a good rig with Nvidia if that matters

I've used MP4 1080HD files.
Avoid interlaced video, if you have it, deinterlace it first before upscaling. Other than that, it works on pretty much anything. Obviously the higher the bitrate, the more data you feed it, the better the results, but even that hits a point of diminishing returns.
