I guess that is a pretty broad question. What format is best for DVD players set up for television use?

BTW, i like strawberry ice cream so i think that is the best ice cream.

DVD, data disc, PSP, IPOD, RealPlayer, Internet, Palm?

For family and friends, if they all have DVD players, that would be my choice.
Vegas - 2 renders 1)DVD Architect MPG video stream and 2)AC3 audio.
Then launch your favorite DVD authoring package and use both the .mpg and .ac3 files. Burn as desired.

If you're making video DVDs then MPEG-2 is not only the best choice, but currently it's the only choice.
