Best practice to import from CF ?

Need to import media (m2t's) from some CF cards. In the past I just drag the files from the CF card to my HD folder. Typically they're just short video clips and all seems fine. A couple of times the files where bigger clips that were long video takes and did not "join-up" in the timeline(Fat32 issue I guess)..a frame or so seemed to be missing at the "splice". I should know this but...How do I avoid "concatenation" problems?

Thanks!

You need to use the Device Explorer to import CF card clips.
Files that have been split are automatically stitched back together.
