Best quality for dvd rendering

Hi,
I am very new to the world of video editing. I have put together a school drama video and now I am ready to finish it. I have Ulead Dvd Movie Factory 2 to burn the video to dvd.
I used Vegas Video 3.0 to make the video and I was wondering if someone could tell me all the details to render it to to get the best quality dvd burn in Ulead? I'm guessing that the standard I should use is PAL though since the standard here in Australia for most things is PAL.

Go to the Search function of the forum and type in "DVD Movie Factory". Choose "Match all search terms above". Choose "Vegas - Video Topics" for the forum to search. Under "Search By User Name" enter "Billyboy". Choose "Serach For Exact Name". Under "Messages Per Page" choose 100.

BillyBoy has used that program more extensively than any of us. In his earlier posts (before he started using DVDA) he had a lot of helpful ideas for rendering and using DVD Movie Factory (version 1). I ended up buying it as a result. I now use DVDA as well, but DVD Movie Factory was a nice program. I used a lot of color correction in Vegas first and rendered at "Best" quality.
