Best setting to avoid pixelation in wmv render?

Hi,

I have uncompressed HD mov file as a source material, and need to convert it to a wmv, so I can use the footage in a powerpoint.

I've expermented with a lot of different settings, but it always comes out pixelated. Even the preview window (set on Best) looks a lot better than the final render.

Any suggestions on the best settings I can use? I am using V7.

Thanks,

Try this one for size ...

Multiply the output frame height x the frame width x the frame rate. Divide by 4000. The result is the absolute minimum Kbps you'll need to get a decent image.

Let's say your project is 800x450x24fps. That would 2160Kbps. It's just a starting point. Lots of people would probably suggest going 2 or 3 times that rate. If you have a lot of fast motion or moving detail you'll probably have to double it again.
