Best soundtrack creating software

I am looking for some software to soundtrack a couple projects I am currently working on (commercial style). I was hoping to get opinions and experiences from some of the folks on here.

I would really like a demo version to try first if possible. I tried the Cinescore demo, but I have heard some terrible grumblings on here.

I have quite a collection of movie soundtracks (I just like the music, sometimes better than the movie). It's not uncommon to see an ad for a new TV series that has a track from a years-old movie for its music bed. Or when a new movie doesn't yet have its music track finished, the producer will use an old movie soundtrack for the preview.

One track that seems to be used a lot is the theme from "Glory".
