best tutorials?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has ever used any tutorials on dvd and/or screencasts which are good for complete beginners? I have found several cool small ones on the Internet and have already learned quite a bit, but not sure I'm really learning the best ways to do things.

I see one tutorial dvd at vasst, and another at LearningVegas (which appears to be a British site).

HERE are a few tutorials.

Use the Search link with "tutorial" as the keyword. Your question comes up from time to time and there are several threads that have tutorial links in them.
