Best V12 settings for 2.39 (2.4) aspect ratio

I have been using a custom (1920x1080, 23.976 fps) template with a pixel aspect ratio of 1.3333.
I have just physically measured the preview window on my monitor and get an AR of 2.37:1, but with letterboxing top and bottom.
I don't generally use movie cameras but instead use still photos or computer generated sequences.
What template and/or settings should I be using to get an AR of 2.39?
TIA

2.39:1 is a ratio so math gets the answers for you. 1920 / 2.39 = 803 is the height you are after.
- you could make your final project size like that. I don't do that because it creates awkward framing issues dropping in photos etc (you can get around that with extra work, but it seems a hassle to me)
- you can drop in a top track of solid black color and cookie cutter out the mid section using a 2.39:1 picture as your template to figure it out. This works, but is a little more resource intensive than the next option....
- drop on the top track an ASPECT RATIO mask as an overlay (or is it ADD, I forget). as long as this file is very small like 9kb, it seems to be the easiest on CPU. Larger one 256kb+ create more work on the CPU. Granted, cpu hit is minimal, but it is there.

I work in 2.40:1 only and mostly use the 3rd option. I don't do the first one because of the framing problems and everything is delivered in 16x9 anyway so the black bars will always be there.

My final tip is, if doing a larger project that this, I leave that top MASK track OFF, until needed. I've set my screen up to the proper size for preview as QUARTER and HALF, put sticking gaffer tape on the right edge of the monitor to know where to drag the spacing bar around so I can view PREVIEW the size it is in the aspect. Might not be the best solution, but it works for me.

Thanks.
It seems strange that Vegas doesn't provide a template for 2.39. I guess Vegas is not used by the real pros in the biz.

The templates are there to match common footage types, not necessarily output ratios.

I'm sure when a lot of us are acquiring 2.40 there will be templates to match.

Now that makes sense.
