Best Version of Sony Vegas Pro to get?

I've had Sony Vegas Pro versions 8-10 before, and have liked them all. I stuck with Vegas 10 for a long time cause I heard that subsequent versions didn't have the stabilization feature, which I've found very nifty. So what is the best version of Vegas to get these days, and does anyone know of any good deals? Whatever version I get would have to have the stabilization feature.

Also, I've been meaning to look into good DVD authoring software for a long time. I guess that Vegas's version of this would be DVD Architect. Is that good/pro authoring software? I'd really like something that can do Blu-Ray authoring. I'd like to primarily focus on Blu-Ray, but a large chunk of people still seem stuck on DVD. I noticed that in Wal-Mart the $5 bin is now the $3 bin. Not sure if that's a sign that DVD is on it's way out or not.

i would say "try the latest one" first. it have stabilization feature, but i'm using now deshaker (processing in batch externally, not in vegas) as i found it better than most software's, and is free ;P

DVD Architect is also a great software, i do my blu-rays and DVD, and the ability to make BD/DVD from a single project is great (make blu-ray, change files, then make dvd)

both software's have a trial time, there's no real reason NOT to test ;)
