Best Video card for Vegas?

I'm considering the Nvidia 7900 series because it was listed on the Magic Bullet website as giving realtime renders. This would be a big plus for me. I would also like to get as accurate a preview as possible on my 24" Ben Q secondary display and my current ATI 1950 video card secondary display looks soft.

Is the NVidia the best choice or should I look at something else? Also I noticed that they now have an Nvidia 7950 which has 1 gig of ram. Would this extra ram help at all in Vegas or is that overkill?

Thank you,

Marc

At one time there was a hint that Vegas might use the graphic card's processor
to speed up renders. I don't know that any graphics card will help you.

More system RAM I think will. Do you have any need for 3D graphics
improvement for use with Maya, Lightwave, or Truespace? If so, then best
consult the tech support or their forums for recommendations.

I use my camera's output to a real TV set for preview.

No, my main desire is to get faster renders on Magic Bullet (Renders can take days right now) and according the to the Red Giant website the NVidia cards in Vegas 6 were able to render at realtime speeds.

I'm also hoping to get a more accurate preview to my secondary display. My ATI card looks soft.

Thanks,
