When I render my vegas projects audio, I render to wav using the default settings in Vegas 7. When I prepare the project in DVDA, I always get the message that audio needs to be recompressed.
Now, I always prepare and render my AUDIO out to AC-3 from within VEGAS.
I wasn't aware, Ulf, that the DVD format could actually use WAV? If it can't then THAT must be the reason why it is re-compressing it? Why should this be "wrong"? Maybe DVDA is preparing the Audio FOR burning to DVD?
