Best way to import video from JVC Everio camcorder

What would be the best and easiest way to import video from a JVC Everio GZ-MC500 camcorder into VMS 10?

Plug the camcorder into your computer via USB and then use Vegas Movie Studio 10's Device Explorer to download your video.

Because Everio's have some special needs, I'd also recommend starting a new project using the Match Source Video tool to set the project's settings.
