"...come to think of it, i don't think i've experienced any shining examples of after sales service for ANYTHING in recent years"

Well, this is WAY OT, but ... I am also a pilot and owned my Cessna Cardinal for many years. There is one company that sets the highest bar for customer service - Lightspeed. They are a headset company in Oregon. Their official warranty is written by lawyers, but their real policy is - If it breaks, we'll fix it. They even fix things that aren't broken, just worn out. All at no charge. Once a pilot has owned a Lightspeed headset, no other brand can ever match it.

Hi,

I agree with FARSS and LIGHTSPEED credo. Loocking back on version 9abcde it's difficult to understand, way SCS did not make the best of time for reliability issues. There was not very big workload for programers conected with new tech (feasibility) - instead of that they have promoted incorporated services (facility). It would be better to correct some annoing problems (like for example column headers organization in Project Media window or bug in API connected with scripts). Maintenace of soft should be ongoing process, regardless of new features (update is big issue, patch is small issue).

Best regards,

I've been requesting to be a Vegas beta tester for years now. Actually, I feel like anyone who uses the a or b version of any Vegas release sort of is a beta tester, but it would be nice to be on the official list. Maybe the actual releases wouldn't be so horribly buggy if a few more of us were given a chance to run Vegas through it's paces before it's official release.

Just tried out the latest LightSpeed and Bose, who just recently brought out a new headphone version (competition rules!). Bose killed more noise in my opinion.
