Project settings are different than render settings. Go to the render dialogs and you'll see quite a few more controls...

Did you mean the File-Render as.. dialog , I know that there are lots of options but no option let me define the quality of the resize algorithem , I know from VirtualDub that there is alot of difference in sharpness & quality between bicubic & billinear resize (also noticable in photoshop).

Where in VV3 is this availiable ? what is the default resize algorithem ?

when you downsize an image that has sharp text, one method will work much better than the other. you'll either get sharp smaller text, or blurry smaller text. that's one reason it's important to have the option on an event-level switch.

hi , cheesehole

when you say "one method will work much better than the other" which method are you talking about ? can you be more specific , I am not too familiar with VV3.

thanks for your help

sorry, i should have been more clear. vegas doesn't have the option to choose between bilinear/bicubic resampling as far as i know. i was only pointing out that it would be a useful feature to have at the event level.

Oh, ok , thanks .

BTW , do you have any idea what is the default alogrithem used in VV3 to resize ? is it bicubic ?
