My DAR files are missing from DVD-Architech including a project that took several days to author.
Also when I open DVD-A it is unresponsive.
What's up?
Are there problems with this software?
I'm pi**sed to say the least!
With all due respect, that sentence makes no sense. It's circular.
A DAR file is a DVDA project. Therefor, projects do not have have DAR files (they are one and the same) and cannot be "missing" DAR files.
You need to be more specific about what steps you're taking, what it is you're expecting to see (and where you expect to see it), and what's you're seeing instead. By chance, are you referring to the list of recent files that usually shows up at the bottom of the File menu? Sounds to me like the list may have been cleared somehow, but that doesn't mean your files are gone -- it just means DVDA's recent files list happens to be empty. Your files are still wherever you saved them.
If you want to open a DAR file, go to File -> Open and browse to the folder in which you saved it. Alternatively, use Windows Explorer to do the same and double-click the file to open it in DVDA. If you don't know where you saved it, use Windows' Search tool.
b. No respect due.
Actually more intersted in an answer to the mystery of the missing DVD.A projects
What I meant to say is that a DVD-A proejct is missing from it's folder.
I opened DVD-A to access DVD-A project to update menu, but the DVD-A project, I prepared and saved is not there where it was before.
I check other folders and other DVD-A projects where I know I have saved .projects to find others missing.
Searches turn up nothing.
If I misfiled it, I don't know where.
I'm rebuilding the project and hoping this doesn't happen again.
