As with most image-type things in a GUI environment ... click on the and then drag them out larger or smaller as desired.

You can also use Transformations under the Button Properties menu on the right to type in any height & width you want.

I tried draging them because this is what I saw when I googled it, but it didnt work it just wouldnt stick. Is there a step Im missing?

There is a toolbar to the left of the preview pane. You need to select the icon at the top right before dragging.
