Binaural audio

Hi - I am new to audio and video editing. I am trying to record and edit binaural ear-to-ear audio from a Blue Yeti microphone. The microphone is set to binaural audio, but Vegas Pro 17.0 is recording in stereo, I think. I have not found any tutorial videos on this platform or online that show how to allow Vegas Pro 17.0 to record and play back binaural sound. I am using a Dell XPS 15 Laptop with Windows 10.

Binaural does not record more than two channels of audio. The 3D effect is achieved by the way the microphones are molded inside a model of the human ear, and only requires stereo headphones to hear.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

Yes, as fr0sty stated, it is standard 2-channel file. Speakers will not reveal the 3D content or have much width.
