Black background to transparent background in Vegas Pro 18?

Hello to all,

So here I downloaded some special effects from Action VFX. I'm very satisfied but some of them are on black background so they are not usable (snow, white smoke, storm clouds).

In Vegas Effect I found by inserting it in the video then right click on the name of the effect. Then at the top of the window "blend" then "add" and this time it is well and truly on a transparent background.

But in Vegas Pro 18 how to do it ???

Please don't send me the link of the explanatory video that can be found in the FAQ page of Action VFX. It's in English and I'm having trouble.

IIRC.... track composite mode>screen.

If I understand correctly:

Right click in the track on the far left. Then "insert/remove an envelope" and finally "composite level"?

Remember, the entire video track will be in composite mode, so don't put anything on the track that you don't want.

Click on the little "hamburger" (3 lines) with left mouse button. Move pointer to "Select visible button set" and choose "Show All". Again, make sure your Action VFX is on the same track.

You should have the "hamburger". It's standard in VP18.

Actually, so. I got the little burger. It's the red square added to the right in the picture that I don't have.
