Black Bar Fill Genius

Wanted to compliment whoever created the Black Bar Fill effect. Just saved me lots of aggravation and using multiple tracks for this effect. Thanks.

This could have saved me a lot of time in previous projects of using vertical stills. It allows an animated zoom.

@DMT3 I use it because it's easy, I also have BCC Reframer that does the same thing but have had to create Presets with instructions to use it 🤣

Yeah, the Vegas Black Bar Fill filter is a solid gem !

Agreed. A use Black Bar Fill a fair bit with stills from my GoPro 8.

The only control I would like added is the ability to lower the opacity of the background especially for images where the foreground is bright - the background can be a bit overpowering and distracts from the foreground.

EDIT: I say opacity only because the method I've used in the past is to Ctrl-drag down the video event to a lower track, use pan/crop to expand it to 16:9, add a gaussian blur, and then adjust the opacity to suit.
