As mentioned in my other thread "Things that'll kill render speed", I was using some Digital Juice JumpBacks in my project that caused it to take a long time to render because the original JumpBack file was in a different format. So, I took the JumpBack and rendered it out to the right format to use it in my project, saving on render time.
But I ran into a problem. The original file was 320x240 15fps progressive Indeo Video 5.1 format, and I converted it to 720x480 29.97 interlaced (i.e., I used the NTSC template.) The resulting file has one black frame at the end, making my loop un-loopable (until I sliced it off).
Is that expected when doing a conversion like that? The original video did NOT have a black frame at the end, but, of course, was 15fps progressive and I was converting it to 29.97 interlaced. So, is this a bug, or luck of the draw on such a conversion that you may end up with a black frame? It would be nice if instead of a black frame it repeated the last frame.
