Black horizontal line at top of marker bar

This is a silly one, but I just realized that I have no idea what the black line at the top of the Marker Bar is used for. If I delete an event, it changes length and position to match the deleted event.

I have looked through the help system and the manual, and couldn't find it in the Marker Bar section. I don't know what to call the thing, so that makes it tough to find.

What is it called, and what is it good for?

John,

Do you mean the line that looks like an arrow? If so I believe it indicates the last edit and in effect is telling you what a post ripple command will do to your event(s)...

Make sense?

That makes perfect sense. So, when I press "F," the area highlighted by the black bar will be "filled in."

Now that I know what to look for, I found it on page 74 of the manual.

Thanks.
