Blackmagic thunderbolt with Vegas

Has anyone used a BM intensity I/O box with Vegas? My new mobo (asus Z87) has a thunderbolt port that I would like to use for monitoring and very rare importing of video. I don't want to spend 4 times as much for an AJA box.
