Both VEGAS Pro & Premiere Pro lag & freeze numerals of time when I editing 2K & 4K video from ARRI & Sony FS, even with proxy files.

I was editing with a BenQ PD2700U 4K monitor. When I travelled bring my CPU to the director house, he gave me his 1080p monitor, Both Premiere Pro & VEGAS Pro run super fast & blazing smooth without a single crash on that day.

That means all this while my Computer struggle alot due to 4K monitor.

So, does this hardware from Blackmagic will reduce/eliminate the stress/hiccups from my CPU when editing on a 4K monitor?

Some said 4K Monitor required at least 1GB of VRAM from GPU for 4k display, so I need something that can boost performance when editing with a 4K monitor

You (Vegas) are probably thoughputting less info to the smaller 1080 monitor - so that is your difference, not the monitor itself.

I have the older version of the mini monitor, the 1080 version, and it does not really provide much speed improvement as far as FPS playback, over my regular 1080 Benq and/or LG monitor, I got it because I wanted to use Davinci Resolve and they used to REQUIRE Black Magic hardware if you wanted a discreet preview monitor.

Again, I don't know about that BM 4k card. I would think that the Nvidia 3080 would give you better Frame Per Second playback. That card, for $650, is in the 2080 ti category, which is twice as much $$ and has high FPS playback with Vegas.
