Blank video when rendering to HDV

I was trying the 2010 render test file with VP 11-511 and got great times but rendering to MainConcept MPEG-2 HDV gives me nothing but blank screens. All MainConcept MPEG-2 formats give me the same result except for NTSC. Using MainConcept AVC, my computer blazes through the video in 20 seconds and I can see everything fine. QuickTime 7 mov files and Windows WMV files are fine as well.

Anybody has any idea what is going on?

OK guys, I found part of my answer. I just needed a proper program to play the file. However, why will the files not play properly in Vegas?
