Blocking vegas 13 during video preview. Build 545

Lukasz wrote on 7/12/2017, 4:21 AM

Hello, I have a serious problem with the operation of vegas 13 bulid 545. When filming the vegas during the preview stops and stops working. It's so annoying that I'm not able to make a movie 3 hours out of a wedding.

I did a clean installation of windows 10 and it did not help either.

AMD 17.7.1 drivers on previous versions were the same.

Ryzen processor 1700X
Ram G-Skil 16 GB

Vegas130.exe version 13.0.0.545 stopped working with Windows and was closed. To see if more information is available on this issue, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance window in Control Panel.

But I do not want to turn off acceleration because it slows everything down. I want the magix to fix the problem and not limit me. But I will check if the problem is on the GPU side.

Most of the time, with a powerfull CPU, you don't need video accelleration on preview. Sometimes with the newest GPU's it just get's you into troubles.

That's a joke right?

Not for me.
I know my footage, I know what the program does with the things I choose.
That's why I don't need to see exactly in full screen and full format what I'm trying to make.
That's why preview from my CPU alone mostly is enough and beyond that is
- Dynamic Ram preview
- Selectively prerender video
- Render to new track
In my country there is a saying: Een kinderhand is snel gevuld. 😄

Well, what ever floats your boat.

I rather work with preview at Best/Full and enjoy the full functionality the software has to offer. Already the scopes look horrible at any other preview setting.

Exactly why I have to give up comfort as my equipment allows it. Let magix fix the errors. In the end I think we paid for something.

Today I still have such errors.
