Bloopers

I am trying to reproduce the sight and sound that many shows use for their bloopers. What frequency tone (and length of tone) is typically used? The video also appears to freeze for a split second and then jump to the next scene. I understand this is somewhat arbitrary but if anyone can describe what's typically done, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Can you post an example? I don't remember just one sound being used over and over again.

Do you mean the bleep tone they use when someone cusses?

I think you're referring to a 1K 2pop, which is typically a 1Khz tone and one frame in length. Personally, I prefer them to be 2-3 frames when being used as transition kicks.

Yes. That's what I was referring to. The tone that typically used when they show a blooper reel.
