Blue Screen

Would someone be kind enough to explain.

I have footage of a product test of one of my products from a news channel.

I have a clip I shot of an actor in front of a blue screen that I want to put in on top of the news footage as a rebuttal.

How do I mask out the blue so only the actor shows on the layer. Can this be done in VV3?

Click the "video FX" tab in the lower left section. Then click the "chroma keyer" on and there you are. I haven't used it but it should be quite easy to use. "?" in the chroma keyer box gives the main info on how to use it...
