Blue Screen during Vegas 18 Install on new Dell Windows 11 laptop

Just got in a new Dell laptop (G15 special editition, RTX 3070 Ti, i7-12700H).

During install of Vegas 18, on install of deep learning module I got an installation error followed by blue screen of death (and system restart). After logging back in after restart, it gives blue screen again (keeps doing that) -- error which comes up on the crash reads "stop code driver verifier DMA violation".

I'll go to recovery boot and do a restore to a system save point (or whatever it's exactly called) but know I'll have the same problem again if I do the install again (this is the 2nd time I'm doing this already).

Any clue what's causing this? HELP?

--- Update -- just ran install again after system restore, but did not select "deep learning module" -- install of Vegas went fine. (it's during the download portion of the deep learning module this begins). Thoughts?
