75% of the time I attempt to change the color of the 3d face it will stop responding and then when I close the window vegas crashes...
Anybody else have such a problem?
Roger that, I spent all Saturday afternoon creating 8 NewBlue titles (simple 2D ones, although I had the audacity to use a transition at the head of each one) under Vegas Build 521. Crash after crash after crash. Overall, it took several hours.
At the end of my session, the oddest thing happened. When I launched Vegas after a crash, NewBlue threw up a dialog box saying that the titler wouldn't function because I had insufficient GPU capacity. (I have 2 GPU-friendly NVidia cards with the latest drivers). I restarted the computer 4 times, same problem. When I checked the Vegas preferences, neither NVidia card showed up as available to Vegas--they had disappeared. I shut the computer down completely and went home.
On Monday, when I cold booted the computer, happily the cards were back in the Vegas preferences and NewBlue was able to function again. I updated Vegas to Build 595, and went back to change the face color of my 8 titles from white to yellow. After 6 changes, NewBlue blew out again.
I guess you could say it's on me---I liked one of the peppy NewBlue transitions and used it instead of the stock titler. But that Saturday is gone forever...
Same 'Blow Outs' here with NBTP even after the latest Vegas V11 B595 update.
There's no doubt to me that the problem lies within NBTP as the same 'Blow Outs' happen in all the supported NLE's.
I anxiously await my FREE NBTP license for my Beta Testing Efforts & Ideas submitted.
