Bluray, slow mo, stutter...

I've got a 1920x1080 29.97 mpeg2 burnt to bluray disc through DVDA5. Looks great for the most part on my tv, but when I hit the clips that were slowed down in vegas they are terribly stuttery and pretty much unwatchable....whats the deal here? The same exact timeline was rendered to SD mpeg2 with no problems. Any ideas?

Is it possible your BD disk is somehow ending up as progressive, either through how you've encoded it or something the player or HDTV is doing?

When rendering the video out of Vegas try right clicking on the slow-mo clips, go to properties and check "disable resample". Do a test blu-ray and see if that helps.
