How appropriate. I was just going to post another semi-related subject:

Blu ray killed the PSP star. Oh a oh a.

Six months ago, TV advertised DVDs plus the PSP movie release. Now it is DVDs plus the Blu ray release or DVDs plus the HD DVD release.

Guess even Sony realised, having the PSP movie format competing for the same consumer cash as the Blu ray release wasn't a good move, hence blu ray killed the PSP star.

BD hasn't *quite* killed the PSP star, just that they need to reexamine that PSP model. How dumb was it to release "To Kill a Mockingbird" for PSP? How many kids want to watch that sort of film on their PSP? maybe.....none?
You'll see PSP movies back, but with a different sales model, I believe.
