I’m using the Knock Out effect in Pure Motion Edit Studio 5 to remove time stamps from some clips. The plug-in works well and is better than the plug-ins found in VirtualDub, in my opinion. But there are some “flickering” and some “hard” edges where the time stamps used to be. (I do not know if this is the proper terminology for what I try to describe.)
Therefore my question is: Is it possible to apply a blur effect (or something like that) in Vegas 6 to “soften” the image in the surrounding region / inside the region where I have removed the time stamps? (I hope you understand what I want to achieve.)
