For an example of text in Boris Red go to the link below and click on the
Sports Video text, and click "Play The Princeton Day School Sports Awards Video" toward the bottom of the page.

Boris is MUCH more than an "upscale" text titler. I've had Red for about a year now and use it in every project..not just for titles. Download their demo and try it out.
BUT it has a steep learning curve (although not a steep as After Effects).

I bought the two printed student guides offered from Borisfx.com, their new training DVD with Philip Hodgetts and the Class On Demand DVD (Boris Basics, Tips, & Tricks) by Chris Vadnais and they all helped a great deal.

I use both Boris FX and Graffiti; both subsets of Red.

There is no comparison between Boris' text capabilities and Vegas'.

Boris (Red/Graffiti) is much more powerful; you can do just about anything.

The Boris interface leaves much to be desired though. If you can get past that and just take the time to learn it, it's very good, powerful software.

What was used to make the corporate/Industrial video?

Well you know what they say, why make it an easy interface if it can do the job with a lot less work.

Just curious, how much did it cost to get the appropriate permissions to use the audio clips you chose to include in your corporate/industrial video?
