Brain fa*t point me in the right direction

I cant remember why but when I go to the" Render as" window ,the >Copy and trim media with project <is greyed out and I cant select it.
I can ,and did use the> copy and trim media< in the "Save As "window.
Did a search of the forum and all I could find reference to is the one in the "save as " window.
So whats the difference? and what am I not doing that causes the one in the render as window to be greyed out?
If any remember a post, pls point me in the right direction.
My Rods and Cones are burning up from goin thru the search pages!

I don't think there is such a thing as Render and Copy and trim media. I think these items are mutually exclusive. Oddly enough, the choice does show up on the Render As dialog box, but that's probably because that dialog box is a copy of the Save as dialog.

In other words, you can only copy and save media when you are saving the .veg project file. You can't do this when you render an output file.

That makes sense, I had always used the one in "Save As", I probably just never noticed the one in the render box before.
But it was driving me goofy , I even looked thru Spots book before posting, didnt see anything in there except I did notice that all the screen shoots of the render diag box showed it greyed out too!
then I really got my mind realing.
