Last night, I purchased my 4th ADS Pyro External Drive Case from Circuit City. I like those boxes a lot. Anyway, when I tried to install the drive, I discovered that the ribbon cable was too short. I can plug the drive up, but the cable is too short to allow the drive to be screwed to the chassis.
Rather than making the trip back to CC only to find that a replacement probably would have the same problem, I phoned Customer Support at ADS.
It was amazing. The tech answered the phone on about the second ring. I told him the situation. He immediately admitted to the problem and promised to ship out a replacement cable today.
Of course, I haven't received the replacment part, but I was quite impressed by the phone service I received. "Hats off" to ADS.
