A weird one here. I was burning a DVD of some projects underway. I updated one of the renders (these happened to be MPEG-2's with the audio in the MPEG-2, not a separate .AC3 file) and saved it with the same name to a new subfolder. Went into the previous DVDA project, cleared out the link to the old file and reassociated the new MPG file with the icon. Took a long time to figure out what was happening, but for some reason DVDA was not changing to point to the new file. When I would do a new burn or even a Preview, I was seeing the old video. Note that both rendered files had the same name, but they were in different folders.
Figured I was going nuts. I went back, triple-checked to see that DVDA was pointing to the new location, looking at the full path to the MPG. DVDA was even showing the correct file, apparently, on the timeline so I could set the Start and End position and the Thumbnail frame. But a Preview would reflect the old file!
Finally I went to the old folder with the file I could not seen to disassociate with, deleted the file and VOILA DVDA finally would get the idea that I REALLY wanted it to use a different file.
A strange one I know. . .
