I have a fairly reproducible seeming bug. Vegas 4.0.
I have a captured analog to DV file. I am rendering portions of the one big clip as individual clips by event and date.
I edit, then select a range to render. I will then render the loop range as a DV video clip. I then delete the section I just rendered and move everything over to the left and work on the next segment. Subsequent renders will *often* render with no audio; video only.
If I close Vegas, restart Vegas, then try to do the render again, all works just fine. Renders have video and audio. Also, I have positively noted that if I make a change to the project, maybe tweak a cross fade, or whatever, unless I have saved the changes to the project file, the render will also render as video only; no audio. What if I don’t want to save the project file? What if I simply want to render my edited file without saving the changes? I seemingly cannot do this while this issue exists.
Can anyone else confirm this? Anyone else with the same issue? Any workarounds?
Thank you.
