BUG: VP16 freeze with NeatVideo4 if audiotrack on top of others

Strange bug I found in my project:

Vegas Pro 16 (checked 361/424) - hangs when I try to open NeatVideo4 window ("PrepareNoiseProfile" or "AdjustFilterSettings" button) if there is audio track on top of other tracks (screenshot #1). But if I move that audio track down (screenshot #2) - no any problems.

Just open project, ignore all missing files, find "Black Solid" at the end of timeline, open it's "Media FX", and try to open NeatVideo4 window. Vegas will completely freeze.
Now restart Vegas, do steps again, but move top audio track down to other audio tracks - and viola - you can open NeatVideo4 window without any problems.

p.s. I know that I shouldn't add NeatVideo4 to Solids, but it is only for testing purpose - because I provide only project file without medias, which are required to open their "Media FX". That bug appears with any clip on timeline and go away after moving top audiotrack down.

I can't reproduce. Using VP16 Build 424. But I'm missing some plugins you are using, namely ProDad and Magic Bullet .. But even if those plugins are missing, the veg you posted did open for me .. BUT -- I don't see an audio file on top in your veg. -- but even if I move one of your audio track to the top -- I am able to open NeatVideo 4 and run it on the Solid black event. No crash.

Can you create a new project where you put an audio track on top and reproduce the same behaviour?

OK. I was able to repo the error with the second .veg you posted. And, as you said, with the audio on the bottom instead of the top, no freeze.

As time permits, I'll run some tests of my own to see I can reproduce this in a much simpler .veg file or in some format that others could confirm.

By the way, it seems like if I apply the NeatVideo FX to the "event" and not the "media" ... no freeze.

Still testing .. So far, using your .veg, the only way I can consistently cause Vegas to freeze is by using the Media FX in the event pulldown menu.

Event FX does NOT freeze but only applies the NeatVideo to that event, not the entire media. One other way is to drag and drop the NeatVideo FX from the Video FX tab. For me, this applies the NeatVIdeo FX to the media without crashing.

The audio track does seem to be involved. But I have not nailed down what's wrong there, or why it does not crash when the audio is NOT on top.

I have another project, in Vegas Pro 14 (old version), with top audio track - in that project Vegas 14 don't hangs, but send black frames to NeatVideo (that can't be used to generate noise profile).
