What type of files are they? Do they appear in the project preview? Are they in the Media Pool? More info needed...

Let me take a few guesses here ... are they REALLY short .avi files with names like "Clip 001" ? Do they appear after you've used VideoCapture? If so, you're probably looking at some residual captures from sections of the tape where the timecode may have been screwy right before or after a scene. It might be interpreting a frame or two as a separate scene and storing these rogue frames in separate files. I've also noticed that just starting up Video Capture sometimes leaves a few very very tiny .avi files behind with a length of 0 seconds.

If you see these in the media pool or in the explorer tab, and they're NOT on the project timeline, then you should be able to delete them.

Use the Media Pool "sweep" command to remove any media that's not on the timeline. The actual file is not deleted.
