Sapphire is created and maintained by Boris FX, it isn't a Magix product.
That said, Boris has a solid track record of keeping its products compatible with Vegas, as well as AE and other hosts. I'm sure they will welcome your trouble report, and see if your experience is shared by others, or a unique case, perhaps related to hardware acceleration.
Do keep us updated, and you can contact Boris Support directly here:
@Reyfox I have the latest Sapphire 2024, I tried this the other day when this post was made, I tried to replicate the videos from @Patrick-E but couldn't & I still can't replicate any problem so have nothing to report.
Some of the filters in Sapphire were / are quite intensive, I've always been a bit tentative using Sapphire compared to Continuum & using them (Sapphire) had a chance of crashing Vegas. , I've read that Boris have improved compatibility/performance of Sapphire & I think I have noticed an improvement so it's poss that "...... since my PC is not very powerful.". ...... I didn't bother asking for the OP's PC specs.
The videos above show a Display size of 729x410, I'm guessing that's a laptop or a small screen ( 'small screen' might mean old small PC?🤷♂️) ?
Both filters used in the vid are self made presets & all the controls can't be seen, so I can't 100% repeat the OP's video.
One curious thing..? This is the second vid with S_Shake being applied but the search tree is highlighted blue S-Threshold,.. I don't know what Vegas Dock is?
So we have to wait for @Patrick-E to do more than just come in and post a complaint to Magix about a bug that may not be Magix related, but Boris related.
That was why I included BorisFX forum. And also, since we have zero idea of what type of hardware he is using, everything is open to speculation.
I love it when someone comes in with only one post about a problem but don't bother to fill out their user profile....
Oh, and yeah @Former user, what is Vegas Pro Dock? Never seen that one before....
