build 204 freeze when rendering

just loaded build 204 on movie studio 17 platinum in hopes of fixing some bugs with previous version/update only to uncork another issue. which is freezing during rendering. everytime, different location of render. sometimes 25% in to render sometimes 48%, a couple times 92%. I just want to complete my project but the bugs are relentless. can somebody help?

Maybe, but we know nothing about your used sources, projectproperties, rendergoal and template and so on.

I just want to find something that works. I just opened a previous project that had no problem rendering with previous version and it has the same issue. Also the new build 204 wont except .mov files even though I made adjustment in the options for it to accept .mov files. My pc is Intel(R) core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.20 GHz 64 bit operating system windows windows 10 home version 1909 build 18363.1198 installed 7/3/2020

Is there any possibility of getting a credit to upgrade to your vegas pro 360 program. I don't have time to trouble shoot the platinum software.

If you pubish here the MediaInfo of that file that has being asked we can tell you more about it. Now we have to guess, but untill now my guess is that you shall encounter it in all the new versions of Vegas software

I choose a different render option and settings and it rendered which is unusual since I have never had a problem before. But that issue is solved. That being said this software does still have a few issues for me.

1. I mentioned earlier about not allowing .mov files to work even though I updated the options as instructed in a video tutorial

2. Also on occasion the project media window will turn orange at the top of each clip and I loose the ability to right click and replace a particular clip with another clip which is something I do often. How can I get it back to normal?

3. Also often after editing a project the view finder will suddenly freeze on a particular frame and only show new frames if I play the preview. This makes it difficult because when I edit a particular element in the timeline I dont do it while the preview is playing. If I cant see the frame I am working on in the preview window I am blind to make the change and edit I need to.

There are more but these are the ones that hinder my progress most. Can you help me fix
