glad to see they are still trying to get it going ...that's a good thing..could have packed it in and moved on to another weak release...will check it out.

Yeah, I've been experiencing lots of crashes with the release from a few days ago. This one is downloading right now. Good to see them trying.

I was experiencing uneven playback even with a very short project in 765 and now it's gone.

Smashing it about as we speak . . . appears solid. Frames counting and renders . . er . . rendering.

G

ps: "as it was pretty bright in there by default...." loving it . . .

Upadated after a reboot as suggested by ritsmer .
Also have images of my seven partition, with different Vegas builds, and one image after a fresh install of seven.
(at home, clonezilla is 4 times faster than ghost ... and it's free - do not know why my company uses ghost ...)

No issues with this new release ... up to now - I keep it.
I could not render with Gpu (crashes). I can now ... but it's not faster compared to Cpu only (even slower with newblue titles)

Kind regards.

Thanks for 770.

Unfortunately still has the irritating disappearing script icons bug (constantly requiring a script folder rescan).

This version seems to have fixed my problem opening the Boris Red & Boris Grafitti GUI over mxf files (created with the Canon XF utility from a Canon XF305 or a Canon XF300 camera). I just did a quick test & it worked. What a relief!

Ok, this version seems to fix the render time discrepancy. Now, at least with the recent benchmark test veg, all times are identical to the 726 release. So far, so stable. Nice.

With every V12 release I dip my toes in the water hopefully. As has been the norm, I jump straight back out again. Have been trying it on a short project today, nothing remotely complicated. No crashes, but what seems like a zillion restarts as it constantly loses the media. Lots of weird flashes just after cross dissolves, and then they stay even after reverting to straight cuts. Tried copy/paste to V11, but all titles came over blank, and a solid colour came over totally wrong colour. So I'll just have to persevere. At this point I'd like to SHOUT a LOT and CUSS even more. I don't think V12 is ever going to be right for me.

I am showing a XDCAM EX render of the test project being consistently 5 seconds slower than build 726. Doesn't make sense, I know. But that what I'm getting. I'll check things again tomorrow.

@ Arthur.S

I think you need to do a complete system reinstall.

Build 770 is working fine for me. I spent a few hours creating a new Boris TV episode on Saturday and the final tutorial recording was a 1/2 hr straight of tweaking BCC Particle Array 3D, BCC Film Glow, and BCC Glint and I didn't save once and didn't have a single hiccup. It all worked fine. Seems pretty solid to me.

"I think you need to do a complete system reinstall" Nope. This is installed on both a Vista Business 64bit system AND a Windows 8 system that has nothing on it other than Vegas and DVDA. Results were the same on both. I'll be uninstalling it and going back to B714 when I can be bothered. I spent all day on something that would normally have taken me 2 to 3 hrs.

For me build 770 is working fine. I have tested some Standard editing yet - mainly trimming in the timeline, but also a lot of color grading. Some quick tests were done with Boris Red FX too, seems to be stable so far. Have tested the Intensity Pro too, here I still see some flaws (even if it tends to behave stable most time).

However, I also had one or two crashes - but it is too early to say more. Maybe 726 was a little bit more robust, but it is still fine for me.

I have also tested some s3D Features - seems to be fine too. Pairing of longer L and R clips work again on my complex system (I run both a nvidia Quadro 2000D and an GTX 570 here).
