Sony HD platinum 11 build 283 (the last avaible).
I'm trying to add to timeline this file:
Type: MPEG-2 Transport Stream
Size: 4,88 GB (4.995.128.604 bytes)
Video: 01:48:03,280, 25,000 fps interlaced, 1920x1080x12, AVC
Audio: 01:48:03,280, 48.000 Hz; Stereo, Dolby AC-3

Sony vegas freeze on "building peaks" at 7%.
If i try to "play" the video sony vegas freeze at all.

How can i fix the problem ?
Thanks

I try to record a new little file (11 mb).
With this file vegas import ONLY audio track. The video track don't exist !

My friend have pinnacle studio and he can import the above files without problems !!

The two files has recorded with DVB VIEWER.

It's incredible that sony vegas can't import an mt2s clip while ALL OTHERS programs (and less expansive, like pinnacle studio) can do.

OF COURSE Vegas Movie Studio 10 and 11 can import HDV and AVCHD m2t files!

Are these video files from camcorders and did you set up your Vegas project to work with them? (And have you assured they are not 60p or 50p video files?)

And have you got the latest version of Quicktime?

There's no reason this should not work. I've worked with m2t files with no problems at all! In fact, version 11 works very efficiently with them.

VMS definitelty imports AVCHD m2ts files. Feel free to upload a file. I'll try loading into VMS and see if I can reproduce your issue.

I use Vista 32. You will need to find an external site to upload to (eg. MediaFire).
