I recently bought Movie Studio 3.0b (build 118) and installed it along with the bundled MyDVD from the Movie Studio CD-ROM.
When I start up MyDVD, the splash page says: "MyDVD for CD / Version 5"
Then I get the "Welcome to Sonic MyDVD" wizard, which has "Video CD" on the upper left, and under "Select a project type", only has things like "Create or Modify a Video CD Project", "Record Direct-to-VCD", etc. - nothing about making a DVD. If I do "Create or Modify ...", the window that comes up only has "VCD" in the options in the lower left hand corner.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is it possbile that Movie Studio, which proudly proclaims on the box that you can burn DVDs and DVD menus, only comes with a version of MyDVD that burns VCDs?
FWIW, this is on a 2.8 Ghz P4 with Windows XP Pro SP 2, and I've got a Pioneer DVR 107d DVD burner which XP recognizes just fine.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Nick
