New to video editing and to Vegas Movie Studio. I have edited several videos and imported audio and saved them as a movie in 720 30 fps. I want to have HD movies. I want to burn them to a DVD but it will not allow it saying they are to large? I want to take 5 of these movies (3 to 5 minutes long) and have them as seperate chapter on a DVD in HD so How do I do that.

First, you can't have a HD DVD as it is only 720x480. Save your project as two files, MainConcept MPEG-2 for the video using a DVDA template, and MainConcept AAC for the audio. Import them into DVDA where you will make your chapters, then when you go to burn from there, you will have the option to 'Fit to Disc' which will pick the best settings to get it all on the DVD. Cin

If you want HD on a DVD you need the following:

1/ source video that is HD;
2/ a means of authoring an AVCHD on DVD (search this forum and the DVDA forum for more information);
3/ a Blu-ray player.
