Burn command

My first attempt. I built my video on Vegas Movie Studio and am attempting to burn it to DVD with DVD Architect . I have the video file in Architect and the test runs beautifully. When i attempt to burn and reach "Burn Parameter window" only the Voplume Name abd Burn Mode are highlighted. the windows Device, Speed, and select Burn Parameters are not highlighted. The only options in the lowere panel open are Back and Cancel.
What have I overlooked, please

Just a guess: Do you have a disk in the DVD drive?

Sounds like you're using the demo version. Are you sure you've unlocked it with your key?

Thanks to responders. I must compliment Sony customer service. I gave them the same query and right off, Sam told me my computer either had no burner or it was not connected. I thought "Oh yes I have! I purposely bought this outfit so It would have a separate CD burner with CD/DVD ROM And a DVD Burner/Reader." I had never gotten into DVDs but had burned CDs. Anyway, I crawled under the desk, flashlight in hand, and (you guessed it) the bay was very plainly marked DVD ROM. Eating Crow is not too bad but those damn black feathers are a nusiance.
