I have a Digital Camcorder that I Record Videos at 1080 with 30 FPS and all of the Video and Video Clips are on an SD Card.

I have Win11 Pro and I Right Click on the Folder to see the File Size it says it is 6.35 GB.

I know a Blank SL DVD can hold 4.7 GB but when I put this into Movie Studio 15.0 and load all my Video Files into the TimeLine it has no problem Burning a DVD to play in a DVD Player.

How can it Make a DVD when the Files come to 6.35 GB and the Bland SL DVD can not hold that?

If it is making a DVD, it is compressing the 1080 to an SD mpeg file, which is the standard file format for DVD.

Your DVD software will convert your 1920x1080 down to 720x480, or 720x576 depending on where you live.

Chances are it will fit

By rendering the original 1080i file to a much lower quality and smaller 480i file.
