Burn Prepared DVD

I recently burnt some DVDs of a finished project and sent them to several people. Now some of the people are telling me the disc won't in any DVD player, including software players on their computer.

I'm wondering if I'm (sometimes) choosing the wrong prepared folder. When burning a prepared DVD, do I select the folder that contains the Audio and Vide TS folders, or select the Video_TS folder alone?

If I did choose the right folder for the first disc I burn, and say Yes to "Burn Another?" does DVDA automatically select the right folder, or does it go back to some other default folder?

Or is this perhaps a problem with "closing " the disc? I'm using Tayo Uden DVD-Rs.

Sound like you're choosing the right folder - DVDs normally have both VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, even though the Audio one is emplty. And when DVDA asks do you want another and you say yes, it will repeat what it's just done.

You can and should check after burning that a disc contains the right content and plays ok, preferably on more than one playback machine. If it plays ok on yours but not on some others, you could try a different brand of disc, or DVD+R instead of DVD-R. Unfortunately it's still not an exact science, but I haven't had any non-playing returns for more than a year.
