Burn Quality Differences between DVD+RW Media???

Okay, I'm thinking I may be imagining things here, but is it possible to burn the exact same project to two different DVD+RW media (Verbatim & Memorex) and have the played back disc quality look different?

I swear it looks to me that the Verbatim discs seem to present a slightly better looking playback picture compared to the Memorex discs...is this even possible since absolutely nothing is changed other than the brand of media itself???

While i'm rather fond of the saying "anything is possible", in this case i don't think so. If the DVD player can read the data at all, it's going to read exactly the same thing (an identical stream of 1's and 0's) from both discs.
